mixed experience at this hotel
difficult parking early closing
parking proved difficult to find on arrival. (a bit frustrating after a long drive). the bar closed quite early, giving the impression the staff wanted us gone. i think i got that impression more than once.

surprisingly GOOD stay
hot food pristine bed linen spacious shower
I appreciated the hot, fresh food. It was cooked nicely with fresh vegetables. The bed felt very comfortable and the bed linen was pristine. The spacious shower was also excellent.

street noise basic facilities
i found the street noise really bothered me. the windows provided little sound insulation, so every passing car and pedestrian felt right there in the room. this made it hard to relax or get a good night's sleep. also, the room felt pretty basic. i think the facilities need some updates.
